Dispatch Concert Tickets

Dispatch originated in the early 1990s as One Fell Swoop, but changed their name to Dispatch in 1996. Chad Urmston, Braddigan, and Pete (Francis) Heimbold, who were all attending Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vermont comprised the band's lineup throughout their entire career. Their music drew upon several influences, such as acoustic folk-rock, reggae, and funk. Check our available Dispatch concert ticket inventory and get your tickets here at ConcertBank now. Goto commentsLeave a commentShare Staring at the Sun Nearly a decade ago the threesome of jam band notoriety consisting of Chad Stokes, Pete Francis and Brad Corrigan said goodbye to us and to their band with a final concert in 2004. That was the end of a progressive rock cycle that became the soundtrack to many collage careers...

Bomber/Universal After putting their differences aside in 2010, Dispatch returns with Circles Around the Sun, their first full length album since 2000. Longtime fans will love the brotherly vocal harmonies on tracks such as the jangly title cut and the banjo laced foot-stomper "Get Ready Boy...

Boston trio Dispatch have been called "the biggest band nobody's heard of." Not very auspicious. Yet this nifty new album Circles Around The Sun just may help. The stupendous opening title track, with its cool REM Fables Of The Reconstruction vibe, sets the bar high. 'Get Ready Boy' is gorgeous, and the slow dancing 'Josephine' is a lovely nod to The Band. The rest of the album doesn't disappoint...

Sound: Who Are We Living For?, Dispatch's fourth and last studio album turned out to be a major departure from their previous recordings, mostly due to the fact that this album is electric. While they played many of their songs electric on tour, this was the first time they made a studio record that wasn't acoustic. It's not that jarring of a change though; the trio's musicianship shines through no matter how they play, and the song's are all undeniably Dispatch...

Sound: "Gut The Van" is a live album of 23 of Dispatch's best and most popular songs. They were recorded at numerous different places all over the east coast of the US in 2001. Dispatch has once again blown me away with their music. Their sound is so original and unheard of it really refreshes me. They find a great way to include congas, bongos, and other instruments in many of their songs that really make them unique...

Sound: I got this CD a few weeks ago when it came out and I was impressed from the opening track. Dispatch is an independent band that I have been listening to for a while now. They broke up in 2003 to pursuit careers in other bands to further explore their musical talents. This 2 cd comilation was recorded at their farewell concert in Boston on July 31 2004. The sound is great for a live show. The instrumentals are head clearly and the vocals are equally as good...

Sound: I find the music that Dispatch plays to be very appealing to fans of the guitar. They appear to play unplugged instrumentals, blending them together to produce a nice and clear sound. While this means that their solos are probably not as impressive as a lot of other bands out there, the chords they use are still extremely fun to hear. They have a scat-like style, using quick sounds and keeping the listener in their seats wanting to sing along...

Reuniting in 2007 after a three-year hiatus, Dispatch played a handful of summer gigs in New York City to benefit the crisis-ridden Zimbabwe. Such intentions are creditable, of course, and the fact that Dispatch sold out the monstrous Madison Square Garden -- in 30 minutes, no less -- is a momentous feat for any independent band...
