Lead singer Dick Valentine blasts out nonsensical lyrics that work better as "voice as instrument" than "voice as storyteller." In other words, don't think about what he's saying too much. Sound: The sound on this album is outstanding, the detroit rockers cetrainly live up to their name on their debut attempt at makign a record, the song titles include 'Gay Bar' and 'Naked Pictures (of your mother).'
