Sabaton Concert Tickets

Sabaton was formed back in 1999 in Falun, Sweden and worked hard with demos and small club shows just like any other band. An album was recorded in 2002 bearing the name of Fist for Fight on an independent label in Italy, but was never released. By 2004, the band was becoming increasingly frustrated with the lack of marketing opportunities available for their album, so eventually they decided that their best strategy would be start over with new material . "With Sabaton, you have three options: you love them, hate them or ignore them. If you are a fan, then your 'Heroes' have arrived." Finally...two long years since the famous split between vocalist Joakim Broden, bassist Par Sundstrom and "the other guys." The band has just come back from a ridiculous tour schedule. which saw it crisscross continents so many times that airlines ran out of frequent flyer miles. It starts all over again next month. In the U.S...

After conquering the world with their Swedish Empire Tour, supporting Carolus Rex, Sabaton returns with their seventh studio album, Heroes. What King Solomon once said of this mortal coil might be said of a new Sabaton album. "There's nothing new under the sun." Sabaton: laughing it up. Heroes is another album their melodic heavy/power metal lead by Joakim Brodén's gruff vocals. The songs continue to revolve around historical people or events, usually those dealing with conflicts and war...

Since 1999, the Swedes in Sabaton have been making epic, military-inspired records, combining power metal bombast with classic heavy metal intensity. They're an infamously energetic and over-the-top live act, and (released on DVD, Blu-Ray, and CD Digipak) captures as much of that driving force and staging as possible...

"[Sabaton] conveys pride and emotion that rallies a rabid base of glorious power metal fans to arms and brings them to tears." Few bands convey the feeling of war through music as well as Sabaton (others include Iron Maiden, Manowar, and Accept). The band conveys pride and emotion that rallies a rabid base of glorious power metal fans to arms and brings them to tears...

Those prolific purveyors of military power metal are back. Sabaton returns with Carolus Rex, a concept album about Sweden's about King Charles XII (Carolus Rex in Latin) and the Great Northern War of 1700-1721. This is also the first album with a substantial lineup change. singer Joakim Broden and bass player Par Sundstrom remain, with new members Chris Rorland (Lead Guitars), Thobbe Englund (Guitars) and Robban Back (Drums). A new keyboard player has yet to be named...

The heroes of war/battle metal Sabaton offer their first live recording on World War Live - Battle of the Baltic Sea. Having little more than a track listing from Nuclear Blast's promotional material, I had to look up the details of this venture on the Internet. The package consists of two CDs and one DVD. The contents of the first CD is the live recording from the first SabatonCruise in December 2010 on the Baltic Sea (which accounts for the addendum in the title)...

Sabaton, the masters of 'war metal,' return with a Call to Arms, now signed with Nuclear Blast. Excepting their first release, Metalizer, Sabaton has continued the theme of telling the tales of true war, usually specific battles and often from the WWII era, through melodic power metal. By this album, Sabaton have become quite efficient and equally entertaining in their craft. This time around they asked their fans to submit battles for Sabaton to put music...

Without hesitation, I will say that I'm a huge fan of Swedish power/heavy metal band Sabaton. Their 2006 release, 'Attero Dominatus,' captured me completely. Sabaton's vision of mixing metal with lyrics about war and warfare is hardly unique in the genre. However, they do it far better than anyone else simply because of their exceptional knowledge of the subject and its occurrences in past and modern history...

Sabaton have had a year of growth with an appearance at Bloodstock festival that earned them a multitude of fans as well as a big support with Dragonforce in a tour last December (in most cases showing a stronger show than the main act)...
