Summary: "Blasting our way through the boundaries of hell, no one can stop us tonight..." 12 of 13 thought this review was well written Show No Mercy introduces a sound birthed by the same animosity that possessed Venom's 1981, Welcome to Hell. In the early 1980's, the Heavy Metal scene was being invaded by a new sound, one characterized by a higher level of energy and aggression...

Sound: Seasons In The Abyss is definately Slayer's most all rounded sounding album. At times, Reign in Blood was too fast and cluttered, and South of Heaven was too quiet and slow. But Seasons is both of them slammed into one, kind of like a greatest hits album. The fast songs, "War Ensemble", "Spirit In Black", "Hallowed Point", and "Born Of Fire" are breathtaking, skillful and very inventive...

Sound: It was August 1984, a few months after the release of "Show No Mercy" in December 1983, which is considered the birth of thrash metal for many fans of the genre, along with Metallica's "Kill 'em All" and others. In "Show No Mercy", despite the furious riffs and solos at the speed of light (imagine such things going on in 1983 and people thinking "what the.....

Sound: Reign In Blood is one of the best thrash CD's up there. I won't claim this to be Slayer's best; I like most of their CDs a great deal (yes, I even enjoyed Diablus In Musica). Anyway, the CD itself is revolutionary however, think about it. I wasn't around in 1986, but it seems to me that with the lyrics that are in "Angel Of Death," "Raining Blood," "Post Mortem" and practically the whole CD, they are some of the, if not the most brutal lyrics for 1986...

Sound: The impression given off by the band during this record is that simply of being pissed off with the world, the people, and religeon. Like I will mention in a minute, these are the obvious themes behind the music, but if you listen carefully there is a story being told here, I wont tell you what that is because that would ruin the album...

Sound: Ah, good old Slayer. Some kick ass, old school thrash. This is a double disc live album, and it rules. I bought this album thinking it was a greatest hits and not live, but I was mistaken. But it was a good mistake. This might as well be a greatest hits, as it rules. It's gonna kick your face in and piss on it. Why? Because it's Slayer. // 10 Lyrics and Singing: Slayer's lyrics usually deal with going to hell, killing, the holocaust, sending things to hell, worshipping satan, etc...

Sound: The hour is at hand. That's right, Slayer is once again taking it's dark throne in the music world and unleashing a fiery, pounding, and melodic blend of metal. Christ Illusion is the first full-length studio release from Slayer since 2001's God Hates Us All, and it will likely be a satisfying addition to Slayer fans' collection...

Sound: This one is a weird album. It's kind of cover album but it also has their own songs. Covers are from different punk songs and you can tell it easily by looking at the length of songs - 6 first songs, each one lasts less than 2 minutes. So basically it's just punk with Tom Araya in lyrics. Even their own songs, "Ddamm" and "Can't Stand You", are pretty punk stylish...
