Some History About the Bowl
Since 1922, the Hollywood Bowl has been a landmark, not only for the town of Hollywood, but for the music and theater industry. The long-time home of the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra, the outdoor amphitheater featured its first pop performance in 1943, when singer Frank Sinatra appeared with the orchestra.
