Country singer Eric Church is having a great year. The singer is scheduled to will play a show at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne just a month after becoming a father for the second time. The March 18 show will also feature alternative country band Drive By Truckers in the opening spot. The Fort Wayne concert wraps up an eventful month for the award-winning singer, who hit a number of important milestones in the second half of February.

A New Church in Town
Perhaps the most significant event for Church and wife Katherine was the birth of his second child, Tennessee Hawkins, which Eric Church announced on his Facebook account. His son was born almost exactly a year after the debut of Church’s 2014 album, The Outsiders, which hit the Billboard charts in the number one spot last year. The successful album went on to become the best-selling country album of the year, and it gave Church four Grammy nominations. In addition, the album went platinum in December. Church also performed his number one hit single, “Give Me Back My Hometown,” at the Grammy Awards ceremony.
New Release and a Radio Show
Church underscored the birth of his son with the release of a new single from The Outsiders, “Like a Wrecking Ball,” on February 25, and wrapped up the month in style with the debut of his own radio show on the Sirius XM network. The show, “Outsiders Radio,” will play the last Friday of every month at 10 p.m. ET. The premiere episode celebrates the one-year anniversary of The Outsiders’ release. Church will play current favorites and a selection of his own influences, alongside previously unheard songs from his own archives.
