Fans are Grateful that The Wharf has Lifted the Delivery Delay on Dave Matthews Band Tickets

DMBDave Matthews Band fans who have already bought tickets were told that they wouldn’t have access to their tickets right away in order to prevent some people from buying an excess amount of tickets. But according to the The Wharf, fans will now be able to get their tickets to the show at their venue after Friday, February 27. Though tickets to that the show went on sale to the general public on February 13, a ticket delivery delay had been in place. But the delay is expected to be lifted tomorrow. It’s important to keep in mind that tickets bought on the secondary market may only be ready for delivery closer to the event, but that in no way means that you don’t have tickets to the show.

The 2015 Dave Matthews Band Tour

The Dave Matthews Band announced the dates for their 2015 summer tour in late January of this year. The tour, called the Special Evening with Dave Matthews Band, kicks off on May 13 at the Austin 360 Amphitheatre and ends September 13 at Phoenix’ Ak-Chin Pavilion. The June 2 show at The Wharf Amphitheatre is one of the last in the Southeast U.S., before the band takes a sharp northern turn to spend nearly a month in the Northeast.

The Ever Changing Tour Keeps Fans Excited

Fans are especially excited about the 2015 tour, and that’s made obvious by the early sellouts in many of the major arenas on the concert tour list. Part of the reason for the excitement is Dave Matthews Band’s new concert format, which was introduced during last year’s summer tour. Under that new format, fans will get a double helping of Dave Matthews Band in the form of two complete sets for each show.

Dave Matthews Band is also booked to play two and three night stands in some cities, and in order to deliver the best possible fan experience, the band says that each show will be completely unique. In fact, Band bassist Stefan Lessard told Rolling Stone magazine that Dave Matthews Band fans can expect to see a lot of new and exciting changes in the 2015 summer tour. Matthews, the band’s leader, is in charge of drawing up the set lists for each show. He does this only after checking the set lists for all other shows Dave Matthews Band has played in the area for the last five years, as well as which songs were played over the last several nights. Fans who take in two shows in a row, or even within a few nights of each other, are guaranteed to hear a wide variation of the Band’s best music. The June 2 show marks the second time Matthews has played The Wharf in 3 years, and it is Dave Matthews Band’s third visit to Orange Beach since their 2012 show at the Hangout Fest.
