Garth Brooks Announces the Second Stop in His World Tour

Earlier today, Garth Brooks put his fan’s minds at ease when he made the announcement that he, and his wife Trisha Yearwood, would make Atlanta the second stop of his World Tour.  Brooks has been having fun with his fans by not revealing a long list of cities and dates in advance like most performers do.  Instead, he’s opted to only announce the dates and venues one at a time.

Brooks started the mystery before he ever announced his tour by posting the words “The Sevens Have Aligned” on his website.  And during his initial tour press conference, he refused to announce where the tour would kick off, instead referencing the promise he made to one of his fans—Andy from Atlanta.  During a question and answer segment at one of his Las Vegas shows, Brooks promised Andy that he would be the first to know when he’d settled on the city for the first show in the tour.  True to his word, Brooks called Andy and told him that the tour would begin in Illinois.  Andy, someone who typically shuns social media, took to the Twitter airwaves and let the world know. There is speculation that Brooks chose Atlanta as his second stop to honor his fan from Atlanta.

Brooks originally only set 4 dates for the tour kick off in the windy city, but they sold out so quickly that he added 6 more.  And since it’s been 18 years since Garth Brooks played Atlanta, no one knows how many shows he’ll actually do there. The concerts will start September 19th and take place in the Phillips Arena.  Of course, you’ll be able to score your tickets at Concert Bank as soon as they’re available.

If you’re a Garth Brooks fan, you’ll probably be on the edge of your seat waiting for the tickets to go on sale.  Keep updated on the status by following our website, blog, Google+, Facebook page and Twitter feed.  We promise to let you know as soon as the tickets are available!
