Miami AAA – Where Everything Miami Is Happening This Summer

americanIf you’re planning on getting out to see just about anything that’s happening in Miami this summer, you’re probably going to see it at Miami’s premiere event venue, the American Airlines Arena. Since its opening in 1999, the Triple A has hosted the hottest concerts and some of the best sports action to be found anywhere. While the Miami amphitheater won’t be hosting the NBA Eastern Conference Finals – sorry, Heat! Better luck next year (but what a fabulous season!) – the venue will be hosting a star-studded Summer 2016 lineup that includes Justin Bieber, Adele, Ellie Goulding, Selena Gomez and Drake – in other words, a big something for everyone.

American Airlines Arena Tickets for Concerts and More

The American Airlines Arena is centrally located and easy to reach from anywhere in the Metro Miami area. The venue is well-served by public transit, including MetroRail and MetroBus. MetroMover, which is free to ride, has a stop located just two blocks from the arena, and connects to MetroRail at Government Station for those who’d rather not make the two-block hike. Onsite parking is limited with only 939 spaces available, and is reserved for Premium seat and Dewars Clubhouse ticket holders, who must pay for parking tickets through the Arena Ticket Office (or via third-party ticket sites like us, of course.)

The Triple A is the home arena for the Miami Heat, and has hosted the three of the last five NBA Finals, thanks to the stellar performances turned in by the consistently champion-caliber NBA Miami team. The arena will hold 19,000 fans (16,500 without the upper levels) for basketball games, including 2,105 club seats and seats in 80 luxury suites, and 76 private boxes. The luxury skyboxes are fittingly named Flagship Lounges, a nod to American Airlines history, which originated the name to denote their premium-class lounges at airports around the world. In addition to hosting basketball, the arena has also been the site of several WWE wrestling events.

American Airlines Arena Music Concert Tickets

Ever since Miami crowd favorite Gloria Estefan (originally heading up the Miami Sound Machine) inaugurated the American Airlines Arena back in 1998, the venue has consistently hosted some of the hottest acts and events in the musical world. Major events from its history include serving as host for 2004 and 2005 MTV Music Awards and the VMA for the same years – the celebrities attending the VMAs entered the arena via yacht instead of disembarking from limousines. Nowhere but Miami, right?

Recent shows at the Arena have included Janet Jackson’s Unbreakable tour last year, a sold out Rihanna show in March of this year, and sold out shows by Demi Lovato, Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus in 2014. In fact, since the American Airlines Arena routinely brings the most anticipated acts to the area, it’s not unusual for shows at the AAA to sell out quickly. This summer’s shows are no exception. Luckily, our inventory is well stocked with Justin Bieber tickets, Drake tickets, Worship Night tickets and even Adele tickets. Check out our inventory and get ready to party in the heat all summer long.
