Accept Concert Tickets

Accept is a German heavy metal band from the town of Solingen, originally assembled in the early 1970s by Udo Dirkschneider. They played an important role in the development of speed metal and Teutonic thrash metal, being part of the German heavy/speed/power metal scene to emerge in the early to mid 1980s along with bands such as Helloween, Running Wild, Grave Digger, Sinner, and Rage. The band's 1983 album, Balls to the Wall, subsequently became their most successful release, featuring its well-known hit of the same title. Hailing from the German town of Solingen, Accept initially climbed to legendary status, emerging as a seminal band in the German speed and thrash metal scenes in the '80s and '90s. They first disbanded in 1997 and later briefly reunited in 2005 to play a series of incredibly successful festival shows...

When German trad/power metal kings Accept reunited for 2010's Blood of the Nations, fans were pleasantly surprised across the board, as the album was solid, enjoyable, and new vocalist Mark Tornillo delivered the goods in such a classy fashion that we all kind of forgot about our fave mini-man/ex-Accept vocalist, Udo Dirkschneider, for a while, which is no small feat...

Sound: 2012 is proving to be known as "The Year Of Rock", as all of the classic bands that rocked the 80's have been returning to dominate the world in what looks like a major attempt to destroy the pop music scene. The year is young, and yet already we've had new albums from Van Halen, Bruce Springsteen, and UFO, with many more promising albums to come...

"[Accept] is 100% back to making instant classics again, a trait almost unheard of for a band around for 33+ years with members in their mid-50's." From the beginning of my love affair with metal, Accept was there. "Metal Heart" was the second metal album I ever bought. The year was 1985, the height of metal's domination (in my opinion). Although modern times find three times as many acts in the business, the quality of acts in the mid-80's was about 90% and copycats were non-existent...

In 2010, about Accept's first studio album in 14 years, I wrote, 'If Blood of the Nations is the future of Accept, the future is quite bright for them and heavy metal fans worldwide. The album received well-deserved acclaim. Now Accept is back with the follow up, Stalingrad. Accept: looking for their lost car. Is Stalingrad as epic or at least equal to Blood of Nations? I'm not sure I want open that can of worms. But I'll say this: if you liked the former, you'll probably dig this one too...

Sound: Accept are a classic heavy metal band, with songs such as "Balls to the Wall," "Metal Heart," and "Fast as a Shark" forever engraved in the memory of old-school headbangers. When they announced that they were recording a new album without their iconic singer Udo Dirkschneider and American vocalist Mark Tornillo in his place, I was, to say the least, doubtful of how good it could be. Let's just say that the album exceeded my wildest dreams...

"With 'Blood Of The Nations,' Accept has created an album that's far more than acceptable -- it's phenomenal." Did you ever not realize how hungry you really were until after you had the first bite of a nice, juicy steak? That's the experience a lot of listeners are going to have with Accept's latest album, "Blood Of The Nations...

German metallers Accept have created one of the records of 2010 with Blood of the Nations. This isnâ??t about 3 minute radio-friendly singles, Blood of the Nations is about metal â?" cold hard metal. Show me a 2010 album where a song features a 1-minute solo (â??Pandemicâ??)? Itâ??s unheard of in this tragic era of â??babyâ?¦oohsâ? and â??stick a poker in my faceâ? garbage that molests my TV screen and radio...

Legendary German heavy metal band Accept is back with their first studio album in 14 years, Blood of the Nations. That alone is quite big news from one of the 80's seminal metal bands which influenced so many others, including Metallica. Only for clarity let's add some more data. First, Udo Dirkschneider is not back, but you probably already knew that. Replacing Udo is former TT Quick singer Mark Tornillo. However, excellent axeman Herman Frank is back, making his first contribution in 26 years...
