Cannibal Corpse Concert Tickets

Formed in Buffalo, NY in 1988, Cannibal Corpse helped found, manipulate and transcend the very boundaries of death metal beginning with the scandalously controversial debut, Eaten Back To Life. Raising the eyebrows of inquisitive metal fans and incensed parents and politicians, the record - produced by Scott Burns at the now renowned Morrisound Studios - was more extreme and confrontational than anything the Death Metal genre had ever known. Cannibal Corpse Reviews

Every couple of years, Florida's finest death metal band, Cannibal Corpse, come out with a new album, and while some uninformed critics sneer that each new record sounds the same, they're missing the point. The Tampa quintet's speciality is mesmerisingly brutal metal with equal amounts technicality and groove, delivered with immense speed and great precision, and featuring horrible lyrics about killing people...

Sound: Cannibal Corpse are one of the pioneers of death metal and Eaten Back To Life is their over-looked debut. Cannibal Corpse are classic death metal, fast, growling vocals, and no frills. This album is over 10 years old but it sounds not at all dated. Guitar work is very precise, the bass suprisingly punchy however the drumming does occasionally go a little out of time in faster sections. Also, some of the song's different sections don't join together as smoothly as they could have...

Sound: There are but three things which are certain in this world: death, taxes and Cannibal Corpse making records. They've taken it upon themselves to act as a steadfast point of reference for what death metal is and, as the genre's most famous export, preach to an ever-growing choir, but their days of innovation and notoriety are well behind them...

Sound: The sound of this album is unbeleivable. It's brutal, insane and faster than anything. The production is so perfect that there is not one way to critisize it. Everything is just right and just how it should be. The drums are ounding and unforgiving, the guitars more technical than anything else you'll ever find, the bass awe inspiring (listen to intro of Discipline Of Revenge) and the vocals are great. // 10 Lyrics and Singing: What can you say about Cannibal Corpse lyrics...

Sound: This is my first cannibal corpse CD, and I must say its bad ass. One of the best death metal CDs I have heard. The guitar is unbelivebly fast and kick ass. The drumming is another thing that got my attention, it's fast and brutal and it makes you feel the beating. Awesome. // 10 Lyrics and Singing: The lyrics are very gory and violent. I love it. Its not as violent as slayer but I will say it's very well thought of and it has meaning...

Buffalo. 1988. A nascent, spine pulverizing side to death metal surfaces - a side which proves difficult for many to digest. But despite the perceived, unpalatable nature of the horror infested music they pioneered, Cannibal Corpse were the first death metal band to reach over a million album sales worldwide. They are also one of those rare bands to release twelve albums under the auspices of one record label - Metal Blade Records...

When it comes to gory death metal, Cannibal Corpse are among the genre's elite and have been for over two decades. If there's one very important reason as to why they've maintained this status, it's consistency. With their 12th album, Torture, the Florida (by way of Buffalo, NY) band don't disappoint, as the record delivers an onslaught of the crushing, intense brutality expected from them, with no filler whatsoever...

Strip any whip-snapping outfit from the contemporary death metal genre down to its constituent parts and you'll find the double helix boot print of Cannibal Corpse. Cannibal Corpse is one of the most influential and certainly one of the most commercially successful of all death metal bands. Its two-decade-plus career has been built upon the combination of mischievous, gruesome, and frequently controversial narratives, with an unrelenting onslaught of technically proficient downtuned distortions...

"If tendon-tearing guitar tones and slash-and-bash rhythms don't bring to life Cannibal Corpse's grizzly scenarios...Barrett and O'Brien's guitar solos unleash malevolent spirits." Cannibal Corpse returns with the blunt-yet-suitably-titled "Torture." Because this is their 12th full-length, the death metal figureheads faced the dilemma all established artists face: How would the group make an album in their style without sacrificing creativity...
