Release Date: June 14, 2013 I can't decide how I feel about this album. It's the sad but honest truth that Fashionably Late is not the musical slaughterhouse that I thought it would be. I fully expected to be struggling through the album. I fully expected that I would be wasting a few hours of my day that could be spent doing something much more productive. But, every time I find another thing that I hate about the album, I also find something that I actually enjoy...

Is Emo Dead? Who Killed it? You could argue that the "deified" artist, perhaps a being perfected by Wagner and his eccentric, egotistical monuments of self-expression, entered its death throes when Marcel Duchamp signed his Fountain as R. Mutt for submission into the Society for Independent Artists. This scandalous piece, itself a humble urinal without physical alteration, was transformed into an object so far removed from the pre-conceptions of the Western world, itself in the midst of World...

Release Date: June 18, 2013 I don't get it. What do Falling In Reverse's songs mean? I'm 18, I'm female and I like the internet! Am I not Ronnie Radke's ideal demographic? Fashionably Late makes me feel really, very old. In the endless minutes contained within this record, there's synthesizers, there's rapping, there's screaming, there's video game beeps and bloops, there's all of those things that, when taken on their own, aren't that terrible but when combined together make a um.. 'fail'...

~Falling In Reverse, "Alone", 2013.
As musicians, we tend to value progression and experimentation. Flirting with new styles, trying new instruments, exploring new modes of expression - these are endeavours that further our art and must be welcomed, whatever the genre. We can all recall a few instances where these experiments have gone wrong, but that should not put anyone off trying...

Release Date: July 25, 2011 Before I begin, I want to say that this review is in no way influenced by the actions of lead singer Ronnie Radke in a good or a bad way. This review is 100% about the music, actions aside. Falling In Reverse was formed in 2008. The band is led by lead singer Ronnie Radke (Ex Escape The Fate lead singer), along with guitarist Jacky Vincent, drummer Ryan Seaman, rhythm guitarist Derek Jones, and bassist Ron Ficarro. This is their debut album...
