This New Orleans jazz-funk band recruited an impressive lineup of rappers and other special guests for their latest album, including Lyrics Born, Mr. Lif, Chali 2na, Lateef the Truth Speaker, Boots Riley, the Gift of Gab, Ladybug Mecca and Juvenile. The songs are kept tight, the grooves are wicked, and by and large the rappers fit the songs like a glove. A surprisingly successful collaboration that's also Galactic's strongest album to date.
