Badda boom. Okay, it's not a bomb, per se. But it's hard to get all O Holy Night over four guys who'd bang Frosty, Rudolph and all of Santa's elves if you took your eyes off them for five seconds. The production and orchestration are waaaay over the top, exposing the failure of form over function, not that this product from Simon Cowell - who, if he hasn't stolen Christmas yet, is doubtless in the process of trying - would have any problem with that.
