Oftenly called "the mature album" in this record the band took another artistic direction and is a remarkable leap forward, incorporating new sounds into their reggae roots. Singer Bahiano is searching for his own voice, leaving behind his El General's affected style. The result it's not as danceable and joyful as the previous albums but it's fully enjoyable...

Despite what the album title suggests (it means "From Zero"), this is not a sudden change of direction or a new start for the band. They grow up from a rudimentary but fresh reggae sound to more variety and a sophisticated style that mixes the Jamaican genre with pop, salsa, and bossa nova, among other rhythms.
