Married to the Blues is one of Mark Hummel's finest releases, since it gives him ample opportunity to showcase his greasy, overdriven harmonica. The songs themselves aren't particularly distinctive, but they are good vehicles for him to strut his stuff, and that alone makes it a thoroughly enjoyable record.
