As much fun as the goofball aspect of thrash metal's personality can be, it does require a dark side in order to keep its balance, a Slayer to offset its Anthrax and make sure that for every thrash fan in a flipped brim cap there's one who looks like they have legitimately practiced Satanic blood rituals. As long as we have Noisem, that darker balance will be struck...
