Plain White Ts Reviews

Sound: There are certain bands that are sure to flourish on MTV and TRL, primarily because of their emotion-filled lyrics and accessible, easy-on-the-ear, power-pop sound. The Plain White T's fit this bill pretty well, and they have already even had a few songs featured on shows like the one-time music channel's Undressed and The Real Word/Road Rules Challenge. So before you even hear the band's latest record Every Second Counts, you might have some idea of what you'll be hearing...

When adults who fancy themselves serious artists decide they want to say something about childhood, I expect contrivance. We were all kids once, but childhoods are the special, scare-quoted province of neurotics and their analysts, and so art about childhood is more likely to give a petulant prehistory of a specific adult's own issues than to say anything at all about what kids do or feel...

Release Date: December 7, 2010 Plain White T's have never had much success with reviewers due to their lack of originality and seriousness. Their career has been like a mountain; they got to the top only to find that they had to go down again, and at the peak of this mountain would be "Hey There Delilah," which burst onto the scene in 2006. At the bottom side of this peak would be, well, that's for you to decide...

Summary: BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! 55 of 55 thought this review was well written Once upon a time there was a band called Plain White Ts that played inoffensive but pretty infectious pop-rock. Then one day everybody on earth fell in love with a song about a girl called Delilah and decided that it should become the national anthem of the universe. The album with that song on it sold billions of copies despite only the most devout of fangirls being able to even name another track on it...

Summary: Just when you thought the American Idiot/Black Parade craze was over... 11 of 11 thought this review was well written "The name of the album is 'The Wonders of the Younger.' We were in Vegas last year around Valentine's Day and saw the Cirque du Soleil show 'O.' The show had clowns, pirates and a bunch of crazy stuff and I walked out thinking 'I've got a great idea for our next album...

No doubt you'll have heard of these guys already. If we mentioned that they've been supporting the likes of Fall Out Boy and Gym Class Heroes that should give you some idea about the self-deprecating high-school twaddle that these guys are pedalling. New single 'Hey There Delilah' is actually far from new first being released over two years ago and which the record company have been pumping into the mainstream...

Fans of 'Hey There Delilah' would know Plan White T's for their sweet, cute and sentimental pop songs. Those same who saw Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland and thought 'that 'Welcome to Mystery' song was spookily good, who was that?' would be pleased to know that it was the new direction headed 'Plain White T's'. With its Sgt. Pepper style waltz, 'Welcome to the Mystery' was the first taste of 'Wonders of the Younger', the self-confessed 'boundary pushing' new album from Plain White T's...

Sound: Even if you hate to admit it, "Hey There Delilah" was a chart topper that deserved it's mesmerizing nature. One point being, the track was a single for the 2005 release All That We Needed and didn't overwhelm the airwaves until mid-2007. The Illinois pop rock quintet haven't be able to quite capture that magic a second time though The Wonders Of The Younger flashes a new, imaginative case...

Hey there Delilah....again. Apparently, we're not quite finished. Well, at least not yet. Plain White T's latest installment hits the stores, and all of a sudden, girl's hearts are prepared to woo. Then again, no doubt at the fault of their own, have the girls forgotten already? I mean, it has been quite a gap between this release and the album with that one single; need I remind you of it again? It seems that everyone forgot about this band for a number of reasons...
