Seth Walker helps to revitalize the blues on this enjoyable disc. The songs, which are blues ballads rather than in most cases being technically blues, feature catchy and intelligent lyrics, melodic hooks, and fine singing and guitar playing from Walker. A few of the originals could catch on as future standards if they receive enough exposure. There are some guest appearances that augment the basic quartet, but Seth Walker is in the spotlight nearly all of the time and he really excels...
