The fourth offering from the Midwestern band, Burning (generic rockers sure love fire) doesn't quite stand up to Shooting Star's finest, but they are back on track. Immediately, keyboards threaten to take over (as in all '80s records), but luckily, guitars surface for a tug of war until the finale. Those pesky traces of Journey reappear (sometimes not that bad) as the band again strives for the big time...

The hell-bent title track of Shooting Star's sophomore sizzler is an obvious and enjoyable clip of after-work blue-collar rock...
