Strunz and Farah have proved time and again why they are widely regarded as pioneers and the epitome of world acoustic fusion and intriguing diversity. They have been together for over 20 years, mastering the musical culture mix from the very beginning. World music has never sounded as electrifying as it does in the quick-strumming hands of this dynamic duo and their chemistry, which has set the global charts on fire throughout the 1990s and is perfectly captured on this no-holds-barred live recording. Strunz & Farah haven't been much of a critics' favorite, although they have many admirers among great musicians, including the legendary Paco de Lucia. Listening to the guitar duo, it's easy to understand both sides. Both players have incredible technique, with bursts of passion. But at the same time, their new flamenco seems like a watered-down version of "real" flamenco...
