Trapt Concert Tickets

Trapt is an alternative band from Los Gatos, California. The band formed in 1995, after meeting in high school, with members: Chris Taylor Brown (vocalist), Simon Ormandy (guitarist), Peter Charrell (bassist) and David Stege (drummer) and recorded the albums 'Amalgamation' and 'Glimpse' to sell at local shows. After several rehearsal absences and negative feedback the band decided to let David go. Check our available Trapt concert ticket inventory and get your tickets here at ConcertBank now. Trapt Reviews

Avg. Customer Rating:
5.0 (based on 9 reviews)

Sound: I love the sound in this CD. HOwever it took me awhile to get used to it. Stories is a great exception to the loud and alternative other songs. // 8 Lyrics and Singing: I dont know why people are giving this album low ratings. I think that it is very well lyrically written. Stories, Made of glass, hollowman, and New beginnings (before the 4 minute ending) are awesome. // 10 Impression: Go buy this CD...

Sound: California rockers Trapt are back with a new album "Someone In Control." The band struggled a lot to become what they are now. Their story is not a trivial "happened to be in the right place in the right time" -? they had a hell lot of difficulties and obstacles on their way -? a hard decision between music and education, loss of a drummer, difficult relationship with record companies...

Sound: One never can be too sure how the addition of a new band member will affect musical vision. In the case of Trapt, the amicable departure of guitarist Simon Ormandy didn't result in the band hurrying to take a 180-degree spin on its sound. If anything, new lead guitarist Robb Torres adds a slightly more aggressive sound at times, but it's not enough to cause a stir...

Sound: It's been 3 years since Trapt released a full-length studio album, and during that time the California natives have made a few changes, namely a new guitarist and label. Probably the biggest transition came only this past March, during which time former guitarist Simon Ormandy was replaced by Rob Torres...

Iâ??ll excuse you if the only Trapt song you can recollect is â??Headstrongâ??; they havenâ??t really set the world alight since their 2002 smash hit. Yet 8 years later, Trapt are still at it and have recently released a new album titled No Apologies. Regardless of your affinity to this band, you should be happy to hear they havenâ??t lost that heavy, drop-tuned guitar powered sound, which made â??Headstrongâ?? such a hit...

A well put together cd, solid sound, well produced. This cd has the traditonal trapt sound from their first self titled album. Though not as hard this cd still makes you wana sing along tap your foot.

It's been a few years since the No. 1 single "Headstrong," from Trapt's 2002 self-titled debut, hit the airwaves, but the Los Gatos, CA-bred quartet hasn't lost one bit of fire during the layoff, as evidenced by their follow up, "Someone in Control...

Between wailing "My addictions know no boundaries" and feeling "so disconnected," overwrought Trapt frontman Chris Brown seems like a man on the verge of popping a rod. The Southern-Cali hard rocker should find solace in his band's almost preternatural command of the loud/soft dynamics and computer-enhanced guitar crunch that make radio programmers salivate...

Sound: You can listen to the entire album on Ultimate-Guitar: Trapt Live! album. Live albums have always been fodder for dedicated fans and Trapt's latest release Trapt Live! will undoubtedly satisfy any loyal listener of the nearly 10-year-old band. But it's not necessarily the live portion that makes it memorable. The 2 new studio recordings prove to be the strongest points of the album, with some fantastic guitar work on both...
