Voivod is one of those bands I've known for years and while I've always enjoyed what I've heard, I never did really explore the band thoroughly. Target Earth is the first album I've truly delved into by the band and I can't say I'm disappointed. The spacey progressive/trash metal vibe the album has is fantastic. Voivod has a unique sound to their music, in that even if you're only somewhat familiar with the band when you hear their music you know it's them...
