It was only a matter of time before such a prolific songwriter as Chris Trapper released a collection of rarities, and Songs from the Middle of the World: Solo/Acoustic Rarities Vol.1 is certainly worth the wait.But it's quality as well as volume which characterizes the former Push Stars frontman and erstwhile solo artist's songwriting. The majority of the 17 tracks showcased here could have easily have made the cut on an earlier album, in either acoustic or a more fleshed-out form...
