Fall Out Boy Concert Tickets

Fall Out Boy is a band formed in 2001 in Glenview, Illinois after good friends Joe Trohman and Pete Wentz met high schooler Patrick Stump. Stump originally auditioned as a drummer, but soon became the lead singer. The following year, the band debuted with a self-released demo and followed it up with the May 28, 2002 release of Split EP, which featured Project Rocket, on Uprising Records. Fall Out Boy Reviews

It goes without saying that the punk and hardcore scenes are intended to be inclusive spaces for people of all backgrounds. It's the people's genre, or at least it's supposed to be. Unfortunately, that open door policy can sometimes allow in some unwanted riff raff. Such is the case with Fall Out Boy's new hardcore-inspired EP, Pax AM Days...

Release Date: May 6 2003 Being a Wisconsinite, I don't think I'll ever get over how debut studio record Take This to Your Grave by Illinois pop-punk (now pop-rock) band Fall Out Boy was recorded in Madison. This is a record that changed pop-punk as we know it today, to be totally honest. It's an amazing record, to say the least...

Album: Save Rock and Roll Artist: Fall Out Boy Release Date: April 16, 2013 Released By: Island Records Featured Artists: Foxes, Big Sean, Courtney Love, and Elton John In 2001, two friends, and previous bandmates decided that they wanted to create a band inspired by the very people that got them into music. Basing their band off of such bands as Green Day and The Smiths, Pete Wentz and Joe Trohman decided that they were going to make something their way...

At this point, there is little to no difference between Fall Out Boy and any other mainstream radio schlock. Patrick Stump's vocals have become so good that he now shares a vocal style similar to Maroon 5's Adam Levine on certain songs, and the music is overproduced with such a coating of smooth synths, strings and drum machine/over-compressed drums that it might as well be Katy Perry (just check out "Where Did the Party Go?" and imagine her voice in it) or, I dunno, Imagine Dragons...

Release Date: April 16th 2013 It's no surprise to many people that Illinois pop-rock/pop-punk four-piece Fall Out Boy is my favorite band, so naturally, when the band announced their return to music, I was very ecstatic. Well, their return to music was a rather interesting one, just because it wasn't very subtle, in all honesty. There were rumors flying for the past five years, but there were a few interesting hints here and there that caught peoples' attention...

Put on your war paint: Fall Out Boy is out to reclaim their crown as your favorite guilty pleasure with Save Rock and Roll, a clutch of infectious melodies constrained by a dense commercial shell. Since the band's 2005 breakout From Under the Cork Tree, their mainstream success has been built on a penchant for simple, penetrating melodies, self-deprecation, and the shrewd exploitation of bassist/chief lyricist Pete Wentz's boy-band looks...

Release Date: April 12, 2013 Fall Out Boy sure know how to make a "re"-entrance. Is that a thing? If not I feel like it should be. If you're asking yourself why, consider Fall Out Boy's most recent piece in the grand archive of great music. While it isn't Take This To Your Grave or Cork Tree or Infinity on High or even Folie; Save Rock and Roll is a solid album. At first when you think about it, it doesn't sound anything like Fall Out Boy. In the grand scheme of things, the album holds its own...

Release Date: April 16, 2013 For the duration of their career, Fall Out Boy has had to battle criticism from every corner of the Earth; with any mention of the band, critics slash away at their unique style of emo and pop-punk, while dedicated fans are quick to point out that the group will never create another album in the vein of their punk-rock roots...

When any band heads back into the studio after a lengthy hiatus, it's often accompanied by a burning desire to return to their roots. So, be warned, anyone hoping for Fall Out Boy's reunion to see them ditch the slick radio-pop of divisive 2008 album 'Folie A Deux' and return to their pop-punk past is going to be seriously disappointed. From the second the sampled strings of opener 'The Phoenix' kick in it's clear that 'Save Rock And Roll' isn't even remotely like old-school Fall Out Boy...
