There are certain mythical albums in the hip-hop game. Albums that were pushed back so much, shelved for so many years, forgotten by so many, that their very existence is called into question. Cormega's "Testament" was one of those albums until bootleggers and an official copy leaked the CD. KRS-One's "Maximum Strength" falls into that category and even his "Maximum Strength 2008" release didn't answer those questions. In this digital age, it's harder for albums to get lost in the shuffle...

The majority of music fans outside of Texas don't know who Lil' Keke is, and with little to no promotion by the record companies, it's not odd that they wouldn't. Hailing from Herchelwood neighborhood on the southside of Houston, "Don Ke", as he is referred to, is anything but a newcomer to the game...

DJ Screw makes a notable appearance here too, screwing "Still Pimpin Pens," Keke's big hit from his previous album, Don't Mess Wit Texas.
