Originally released through the band's website back in 2010 Pretty Boy Floyd's tribute to the masked merauders named Kiss now gets the re-issue treatment from Cleopatra Records. So is it worth going after it if you purchased it some 60 months ago? No, unless you're a diehard PBF collector. But if you don't own a copy yet you might want to get your hands on it cause the disc is not as bad as some critics want you to believe...

Pretty Boy Floyd doesn't know how appropriate the title is for their KISS tribute album: Kiss of Death. It speaks volumes to Steve Summers and Kristy Major's vain attempt to glorify their forerunners and peers. This tribute is "pretty" bad, no pun intended. "Suicide" on Pretty Boy Floyd's Size Really Does Matter CD harkens back to the days of hard rock that could break through on pop radio. It's got the Guns N' Roses-meets-Alice Cooper snarl and enough dynamics to make it jump off of the disc as the standout. That's perhaps the most in-the-pocket tune on the album, though "Earth Girls" comes close with its science fiction overtones and cool hook...
