Brantley Gilbert Defies Doctors and Goes on Tour

In late April of this year, Brantley Gilbert suffered from an umbilical hernia.  Doctors blame the injury on Brantley’s strenuous workout regime, but the singer has been quoted as saying he believes he tore the four muscles in his stomach while singing.  Either way, doctors told him to stop his intense workout routine so he can have time to heal.

So what does he do?  Book a concert tour, that’s what.  The unpredictable and rowdy country singer has 29 concerts booked between now and December 6th, and considering his reputation for giving his all on stage, those muscles are going to get a workout.  After all, he’s used to doing things on his own terms.

Gilbert has been shaking up the music world lately with this creative take on country music and fans everywhere are looking forward to seeing some of that trademark outlaw in person on this tour. He’s known as a country singer who likes to stir things up by adding a little bit of rock and roll into his music, and the result, according to his fans, is music like you just don’t hear anywhere else.

Brantley first came on the nationwide scene when he released his album titled Halfway to Heaven.  The songs that gained him a following are My Kind of Crazy, You Don’t Know Her Like I Do, and Just As I Am.  This is his first tour and fans across the nation are clamoring to get a first look at their favorite Brantley Gilbert songs sung live.
